Uganda Mourns the Loss of King Oyo Nyimba at Age 34
King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional monarch of Uganda's Tooro Kingdom who famously entered the Guinness World Records as the world's youngest reigning monarch, has passed away at the age of 34. His death was officially announced by the kingdom's Prime Minister, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, who described it as a profound and immeasurable loss for the royal family and the entire nation. King Oyo ascended to the throne in September 1995 at just three years old following the passing of his father, King Patrick David Matthew Kaboyo Olimi III.
